Our founders grew up surrounded by the aromas of Jollof rice on a Friday, egusi bubbling on the stove and the unmistakable sound of a pestle and mortar on a Sunday morning.
ChopStopKitchen was born from a simple truth: the best Nigerian food you will ever eat is the kind made with love in someone's home. After years of friends and colleagues asking where they could get food that tasted like home, the answer became clear. ChopStopKitchen opened at Watford Market to bring those same flavours, made fresh every day, to the wider community.
Every dish we cook is made the way it was meant to be made. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just authentic Nigerian home cooking delivered to your door or served fresh at our market stall and restaurant space every Friday and Saturday.
